   Absorbent and destructor of oil hydrocarbons ECONADIN  as a brown-coloured powder, dispersive or with wavy inclusions, flotant and hydrophobic. Bacteria that form the basis of this preparation are superdestructors of oil hydrocarbons, immobilized according to special technology on upper sphagnous peat, an organic substrate. It is environmentally friendly, nontoxic, and odorless. The sorptive capacity is from 1:7 to 1:10 depending on the type of oil products and its modification. In contrast to other sorbents, desorption of oil
products is lacking.

 

The preparation is designed for quick localization and elimination of oil pollution of water and soil. It is high quality peat moss with impregnated according to special technology bacteria destructors of oil hydrocarbons. It is ecologically safe, non-toxic and odorless. The preparation provides for the destruction of oil hydrocarbons in the natural environment to end products of H₂O and CO₂ and does not require collectiion.

Its absorptive capacity is 1:5 – 1:8, packed density – 120-125 g/l.

Treatement of water surface

ECONADIN  is used for eliminating oil pollution on the water surface separately or combined with mechanical collection. From 50 to 150 grams of the preparation is applied as a thin film on the oil spot (depending on  the film thickness and type of oil product). Efficiency of treatement  of the water surface exeeds 95%. The preparation provides for destruction of oil hydrocarbons in water and bottom sediments.
